Our khussas are hand-crafted with care, blending culture, heritage, and luxury. With the right aftercare, they’ll remain timeless companions for years.
Printed Khussas
(Cotton, Silk, or Patterned Fabric Styles)
- Dust removal: Use a soft brush or lint roller after each wear.
- Spot clean: Dab gently with a cloth dampened in cold water; for stains, add a drop of mild soap. Avoid rubbing.
- Avoid moisture: Keep away from rain and puddles. If wet, air-dry naturally, away from sunlight.
- Storage: Use dust bags and tissue paper to retain shape.
Leather Khussas
(Simple, Tilla-detailed & Backless Styles)
- Daily clean: Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wear.
- Deep clean: Use a leather cleaner or conditioner sparingly; buff with a soft cloth.
- Tilla detail: Avoid applying cleaners on metallic embroidery — wipe dry only.
- Protection: Apply a leather protector spray (patch-test first).
- Shape: Stuff with tissue to prevent creasing; avoid storing under heavy items.
Embroidery Khussas
(Embellished, Threadwork & Tilla Styles)
- Gentle handling: Avoid snagging on jewellery or rough fabrics.
- Cleaning: Only dust lightly with a soft brush; spot-clean around embroidery, not over it.
- No water soaking: Never submerge or machine-wash.
- Storage: Keep in dust bags, avoid stacking to protect embellishments.
Universal Tips
- Rotate pairs to let them breathe.
- Avoid direct sunlight for long periods.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Add cedar shoe inserts or baking soda sachets to control odour.
